Refund Policy
Effective date: July 23, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when refunds are and are not available for the subscription services and products offered through BJE Equity LLC, doing business as Rila (“Rila,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It applies together with, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By enrolling in a Rila subscription, you agree to the terms below.
Subscription billing
Rila is offered on a recurring, auto-renewing monthly subscription. When you enroll, you authorize us to charge your payment method the applicable amount at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. Each charge covers the upcoming cycle’s services and, where prescribed, the associated medication.
Eligibility review and initial charge
You are only charged for Rila’s services if a licensed provider reviews your information and determines that treatment is appropriate for you. If, during your initial provider review, you are found not to be eligible for treatment, you will not be charged. If any amount was authorized or collected when you signed up, it will be refunded in full, and any temporary card authorization or hold placed at checkout will be released. In short: no eligible prescription, no charge.
General refund policy
Except as expressly described in this policy, all charges are non-refundable. Because our services involve provider time, pharmacy fulfillment, and prescription products, we do not issue refunds once a billing cycle has begun, and we do not issue refunds for prior (past) billing cycles — any eligible refund is limited to your most recent billing cycle.
Prescription and compounded medications
Once a medication has been dispensed or shipped by the pharmacy, it cannot be returned or refunded. This restriction is required by law and by pharmacy safety regulations, which prohibit the return, reuse, or resale of dispensed medications. This is true regardless of whether the medication has been opened or used.
Refunds for medical disqualification
If your subscription is cancelled because a licensed provider determines that treatment is not medically appropriate for you, we will refund the portion of your most recent billing cycle attributable to services or medication that have not yet been provided or dispensed following that determination. No refund is issued for services already rendered or medication already dispensed, and no refund is issued for any past billing cycle.
Damaged or incorrect orders
Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery. If your medication arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. For damaged items, we may ask for a photo as evidence. In these cases we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost. Damaged or incorrect orders are resolved by replacement rather than refund.
Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for your next cycle, you must cancel at least 72 hours before your next billing date. Cancellations requested less than 72 hours before a billing date may not take effect until the following cycle, and the charge for the upcoming cycle will not be refunded. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund a cycle that has already been billed (except as described under “Refunds for medical disqualification”).
Non-refundable charges
The following are non-refundable: any consultation, evaluation, or membership fees; charges for services already rendered; charges for medication already dispensed or shipped; and any past billing cycles.
How to request a refund or cancel
To cancel your subscription or request a refund you believe you are eligible for, contact us at team@joinrila.com with the name on your account and your order or subscription details. Our team will review your request and respond with next steps.
Processing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to be processed and to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and your continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
